4ply Sock Weight British and Recycled Wool in Cream
A soft and sustainable yarn, spun in Yorkshire by Laxtons, using a blend of wool from British Corriedale sheep and waste wool reclaimed and recycled from their own spinning mill, which means you are supporting a lower impact future while enjoying a premium quality yarn.
Being a 4ply light fingering / sock weight yarn this will be ideal for intricate patterns and fine detailing, it is perfect for socks, shawls, lightweight garments and delicate accessories.
This yarn has been hand dyed using responsibly sourced plant based natural dyes, giving a unique colouration to the fabric. The bark used in this dye batch were respectfully foraged from naturally fallen trees in a woods close to my home in Cornwall.
A 100g ball will give roughly 450 meters the suggested knitting needle size is 3.25–3.75mm (UK 10–9, US 3–5) but knitting a tension square before starting a new projected is recommended.

Pine trees have over 115 species, known for being evergreen and long living, with needle shaped leaves and growing to great heights. The bark used for this batch was gathered from various naturally fallen trees found in a woods near to my home in Cornwall.
Used for their medicinal properties and essential oils, they contain antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and respiratory benefits. They are also revered for their magical properties, resilience and association with purification and divine energy.
