Sewn with French seams for a clean and strong construction, with strong silk ties and hand dyed using responsibly sourced plant based natural dyes, giving a unique varied colouration to the fabric.

One of the more iconic of the native plants across the cooler areas of the British Isles and Europe, Heather can be found as a sprawling evergreen shrub across moors, mountains, fields and ditches. It is iconic for it's tiny bell shaped flowers that appear in late summer / early autumn.

It is valued for it's calming, soothing properties, traditionally used for urinary health, anti-inflammatory support, and skin care. It is also used in magickal rituals such as charm bags, to attract positive energy and banish negativity. In Scottish and British folklore it represents luck, love, beauty, protection and is associated with the goddess Brigid and the Fae.
